Alma Mater memories...

May I take you all on a stroll down memory lane...?!

Alumni.  Reunion. school!

A special kind of joy blooms in your heart, right? Hearing those words?... 

I recently visited my school For the alumni meet.

My eyes welled up the moment I went near the school gate...

A wonderful feeling To enter one's Alma Mater after years...

Precious Memories blossomed as I strolled around my school...

Oh aching sweet nostalgia...!

The energy, vibes canopied my soul, while my eyes absorbed every inch of the surrounding,

with a child-like joy! 

We all would have spent several hours each day at school, and less time at home

Been with our teachers for longer hours, than with our parents...

Well, our teachers/mentors become our Mom/Dad, our school, second home... 

Grinning, and a little emotional too, ran towards my teachers, Headmistress, 

Correspondent...

It ached to see them a little weak, shrunk physically, but their spirit is matchless! Still

exuberant from the inside. 

Warm loving hugs, wishes, blessings from teachers brimming with so much love, beaming in

pride to see their students/children where they are now, their Metamorphosis, are moments to

cherish for life... 

To meet our old friends, loving seniors who inspire in so many ways, cheerful juniors who

gift us hope, being a bridge to connect us all, from different generations...

How special are those moments... 

Well...

While all the fun, laughter, cultural programs, photo sessions created a colorful festival

atmosphere, going around classrooms, touching and feeling the backboard, chalk, our

benches from decades ago, doors, windows, trees around, corridors, staircase, lab, cycle

stand, tiny canteen that sold delicious toffees, the stage that has gifted us plenty of

opportunities to explore our skills, the PT ground...

All of these still carry a part of us... 

We all entered school as raw clay. A plain stone. 

Our teachers, mentors sculpted us, gave us a shape, a meaning for our presence, a purpose to

live...

Without teachers, we are nothing... 

Life is busier, with multiplying responsibilities, unexpected challenges for all of us. At

different phases of life.

Yet, let us make sure we make time to visit our school(s), meet our teachers, involve

ourselves to be a tiny part in our school's betterment, whenever possible.

Let us pay it forward...

It's our home, after all. 

Loads of love, gratitude to all the amazing teachers all over the world...
